[As with the freakshow breach, Iroh's accent is a little thicker than usual but his English is still completely comprehensible.]

Ladies and gentlemen, it is a great pleasure to arrive in an upstanding town such as this. I hope that my associate and I shall be welcome during the time that we are here.

For the next few days, you will find my wagon at the north end of the main street; in that time, I hope you will visit to peruse a selection of exotic teas, beautiful silks, fine paper and other such luxuries for those who wish to welcome a little extravagance into their lives. I keep a stock of some more regularly used household items, as well - though it appears your local shopkeepers are more than sufficiently equipped. All of it is keenly priced, of course, and I will be more than happy to make visits to homes or businesses whose owners might wish to discuss larger orders.

I will look forward to meeting as many as you as possible. And of course, I come here as a patron as well; is there a house in town that might provide room and board to a pair of weary travellers? I can promise nothing from us but quiet and clean living.

[Iroh will spend most of the day standing with his wagon, engaging with passers-by - although he'll also make visits as requested, spend a little time wherever he ends up boarding, and visit the saloon for a drink in the evening.  Come and find him wheresoever you might like!]

Indeed. Many of my products are produced here in this country, but by craftsmen and artisans who have brought their skills from the furthest reaches of the East.

Is there something in particular you are looking for? Perhaps you might pay a visit and see what I have stocked.

[Iroh turns from where he's locking up his wagon for the night. He and Kurtis will likely take turns watching over it - locked or not, the contents are far too valuable to be left alone, even in what seems like a pleasant enough town. It's something of a surprise to be approached by a lone young woman after dark, but he takes it in stride and smiles, bowing his head.]

I was just curious, since you're new in town, if you've noticed anyone particularly suspicious hanging around your wagon? I know it's not very lady-like, but I can't resist a good rumor, and... well, you know what they've been saying.

[Sunday dinner was a tradition for D. Every Sunday he went down to see his family after church, stayed sober most of the day--and most pertinently right now, he always brought presents. Curios, nice fabrics, this or that clever kitchen tool, tea, spices. Whatever he could find, sometimes extravagant, sometimes simple. Sometimes he spent the whole week looking for something worth bringing to them.]

[This looked like a good place to get Armand and the girls something they hadn't seen before. So, the tall man in the black duster came up quietly, gunmetal-colored eyes narrowing in the sun as he took off his hat.] Afternoon.

[Iroh had developed a healthy sense of concern surrounding people who dressed with a view to looking like they shouldn't be unduly bothered, but he wasn't going to act like he was in trouble until he actually was. So he offered the man a customary smile and a half-bow.]

[D sniffed, nodding hello. His expression stayed cold but the corners of his eyes crinkled slightly. His voice when he spoke was a soft rasp ruined by whiskey and gunsmoke, and came out with something at odds with his appearance:]

My birthplace? The city of Edo, in Japan - but that was a very long time ago.

[Mr. Kurtis Cunningham, former Texas Ranger turned lookout, has kept an eye out since he'd got here. Town seems to have plenty of law enforcement, which was a good sign but he isn't counting his chickens before they hatch.

He comes back from the nearest general store with some bread and meat so they can have some good fresh food while they're in town.] How's business farin', Mr. Iroh?

[Iroh smiles broadly at his travelling companion.] Things seem to be shaping up much better than our last few stops, Mr. Cunningham, though it's early yet. I've already had some good custom.

[He puts the brown-paper wrapped food on the back of the wagon and finds somewhere out of the way that he can sit.] People here seem nice. [Some of them seem like shits, too. But the alright people seem to outnumber the shits.]

[Mayor Narvin is out and about, offering smiles and friendly greetings to all the townsfolk like a good politician. But when he comes to Iroh's wagon, the smile falters for a moment before being forcibly plastered back on.]

[Iroh saw him coming from a good way off, and judging from exchanged greetings he's already got the man pegged as town mayor even before he arrives at the wagon. The flicker in his expression isn't lost to him, but Iroh's own smile is unflinching as he gives a respectful nod.]

No longer than a week, sir. The last few towns weren't as kind as this one, and we'd value the chance to to rest and resupply before we move along.

At present, I wouldn't let it go for less than ten dollars - not cheap, I know, but it's one of the few of its kind available all across this land. However, some arrangements could be made for a young lady of fine tastes.
